Believing Is Seeing !

Alright, I’ll be honest here. I called myself a writer for about a year before I made even my first $100 writing…

Why did it take me so long?

Mostly because I lacked the right energy, guidance, and/or environment I so needed to achieve the goals I had already begun to visualize and set-out for myself.

Lewis Carol, author of Alice in Wonderland said:

“If you do not know where you are going, any road will get you there.”

I had no clue which road to take. But I knew I loved writing. So, I started calling myself a writer, and a little ways down the road got my first gig. It only occurs to me now how silly it would have been for me to ask someone to pay me to write for them, before even thinking myself a writer!

“Who will believe in you, if not yourself?”

When it comes to your goals, never take no for an answer. You’ve probably heard the tale of Thomas Edision trying the Light Bulb 999 times, and getting it right on the thousandth. Do you think we would even have light bulbs today if there wasn’t a man as stubborn as this to conduct its trail and errors? Or even attempt to do something that has never been done? Do you think Mr. Edison would have tried his experiment one-thousand times if hadn’t already seen it work in his dreams, visions, and/or notations?

Probably not.

There is another battle we all within ourselves face. This is not the contrasting relationship between consciousness and subconsciousness, but rather the battle between Mind and Heart, or Body (Mind) and Soul (Heart) is another one we must be well-aware of if we’re to begin facing and mastering its encumbrance.

We must become more valuable to ourselves if we wish to become more valuable for other people.

Valuable people create, they give, they care, they make, they manifest, they motivate, everyone around them 100X more effectively than people with no or little value.

And no has no value, unless they have rendered themselves valueless.

Your future self is begging you to put in the work today. It’s begging you to not just hold on for tomorrow but to eat for tomorrow and become one of the best copywriters in Canada.

Everything you spend your time doing affects how your brain thinks and in-turn who you are. Your greatest enemy is yourself, if you are to help people you must help yourself, and to do this you must conquer self, you must become a master at the battle between your Mind and Heart, Body and Soul, or at the very least begin your apprenticeship…

This training takes place in every decision that you make. Hone it. Become a master.

All these things affect the way we think, and the way we then act. From the books you read, to the people you hang around, to the videos, TV shows, and movies you watch. Hang around ambitious people and you will become ambitious, hang around losers, and you will become a loser. Watch motivational videos if you wish to motivate yourself and others. Watch horror films if you wish to see the world as a horrible place, and creep people out when you talk to them. Read fiction if you wish to expand your imagination. Read Classics if you wish to become like the greatest of all time.

Someone told me that life is far too short to spend anytime reading anything but the best books. And I think this saying goes for television, friendships, and almost every other area we spend much of our time in.
